Metal Dreams

Arkansas Steel Buildings, Engineered for the Ground They Sit On

A carport in Pine Bluff and one in Springdale have different snow loads. A shop floor holding a two-post lift needs different anchoring than a storage garage. Metal Dreams constructs carports, RV covers, garages, shops, barndominiums, and commercial structures to the differences you’ve identified for your site, your county’s code and what you’re actually going to put in your shop.

BUILT ACROSS ARKANSAS DELTA TO THE OZARKS

We spec framing, roof pitch and anchoring around where your building goes, with regular crew routes to Fayetteville, Springdale, Bentonville, Conway and Pine Bluff, and every town in between.

30 Years of Arkansas Concrete Behind Every Building We Put Up

Before Metal Dreams, there was Planit Dirt. James has been pouring concrete for over 30 years in Jacksonville. Driveways. Foundations. Patios. Slabs for the buildings other people were putting up. He did that over three decades to become one of the most enduring concrete enterprises in Central Arkansas, operating in Little Rock, North Little Rock, Sherwood, Conway, Cabot, Benton, Bryant, Maumelle and Alexander. A long time to work in the same place. So long, in fact, that James has poured a driveway in the nineties and a pool deck for their children twenty years later. You don’t get a second call like that by cutting corners on the first one.

Metal Dreams grew out of that work naturally. All steel buildings begin with a slab and James had been the one pouring the slab. He knew the requirements of anchors in Arkansas clay, where they had to penetrate after a wet spring; he knew the requirements of foundations that have to hold a building for fifty years. It was only logical to add the structure on top. So, when you call Metals Dreams, it’s not a startup that appeared last year. You’re calling a man who’s been building in these towns since before some of his customers were born, using the same crews, out of the same yard, under a name people around here already know. The steel is new. The standards behind it aren’t!

The Smarter Investment for Every Project

Why is Metal Roofing a Great Investment?

Two buildings can quote within a few thousand dollars of each other and cost nothing alike by year fifteen. Wood attracts Arkansas humidity, provides a food source for termites and requires periodic painting. Steel doesn’t. Add insurance treatment, repair frequency, and the number of years the structure will remain standing and the less expensive-to-construct on day one is not necessarily.
