Steel carports built for Arkansas weather

Stop clearing ice off the windshield and counting hail dents in April. A Metal Dreams carport keeps vehicles, trailers, and equipment under a steel roof that's sized for your site.

The least expensive cover you can put over a vehicle

A carport is the simplest building we make and usually the quickest to put up. It's open on the sides, so there's no door to open and nothing to heat, but the roof does the job that matters: it keeps sun, rain, hail, and ice off whatever is parked under it.

We build them from one car to multi-bay roofs wide enough for trucks, tractors, and equipment. You set the width, length, and leg height. If wind-driven rain is what you're worried about, we can add partial side panels on the weather side.

Options that change how it performs

  • Regular roof

Rounded eaves and horizontal panels. The most economical style, suited to lighter-duty covers.

  • Boxed-eave roof

A-frame look with horizontal panels. A cleaner line that sits well next to a house.

  • Vertical roof

Panels run top to bottom, so water, leaves, and ice slide off instead of sitting. We usually recommend it on larger frames.

  • Width, length, and leg height

Sized to what you park, not to a chart. Taller legs clear a lifted truck or a trailer.

  • Partial side panels

Added on the weather side when wind-driven rain is the problem.

  • Anchoring to match the ground

Set for concrete, gravel, or bare ground, and for the wind your site actually sees.

Carports questions

Which roof style should I pick?

For a small single cover, a regular roof is the economical choice. On larger frames we usually recommend a vertical roof, because the panels let water and ice run off the roof instead of pooling on it.

Can I close in one side?

Yes. Partial or full side panels can be added, usually on the side the weather comes from. If you want it fully enclosed, look at our garages instead.

What does it sit on?

Concrete, gravel, or bare ground. We specify the anchoring to match whichever you have.
